Privacy & your photos
Plain language about what happens to the messages and photos you share with the Concierge.
📷 Photo uploads
When you attach a photo to a Concierge message, the image and your question are sent to our AI provider (Google Gemini, via the Lovable AI Gateway) so the AI can look at the photo and answer you. That's the only reason your photo leaves your device.
🗄️ What we store
Nothing on Embroidery Unlocked servers. We don't keep a copy of your uploaded photos or your chat transcripts. Your last 50 messages (including image thumbnails) are saved only in your browser's local storage on this device so the chat is still there when you come back.
🧹 How to delete
Tap "Clear chat" in the Concierge tab to wipe every message and image from this device immediately. Clearing your browser data does the same thing.
🤖 What the AI provider does
Google processes the image transiently to generate the response, under their API terms. We do not retain uploads and we do not use your photos to train any model.
💡 A small ask
Photos of hoops, stitches, thread paths, and fabric are exactly what helps. Please avoid uploading anything with personal info you wouldn't want to share — faces, kids, mail with addresses, payment details. If you're in doubt, crop tightly to the embroidery.
📝 Notes you save
Anything you tap "Save this answer 📌" on lives in My Notes — again, only in this browser. Clearing site data removes it.
🔄 Reset photo upload consent
You acknowledged the photo-use notice the first time you uploaded an image. Reset it here to be asked again next time.
